The Faculty takes great pride in the achievements of its students. With 1845 full-time students, including 416 graduate students, 1429 undergraduates and 40 international students among them, our student body is both diverse and talented. Numerous students have won awards in various national competitions for English, Japanese, and German, showcasing their exceptional linguistic skills and cultural understanding.
Six of our students were honored to be selected as volunteers for the Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, while 81 others served as volunteers at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Additionally, five students have had the opportunity to intern at international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme, gaining invaluable experience and exposure to global issues.
In recent years, our students' admission rates to graduate and doctoral programs have consistently risen, with over 100 students each year being accepted into renowned universities both domestically and internationally. Impressively, 29 of our alumni have gone on to pursue doctoral degrees at top-tier institutions.
Our graduates are highly sought after by employers, and our employment rate (including both undergraduate and graduate students) ranks among the highest in the province. This success is not only due to their academic achievements but also to the Faculty's emphasis on cultivating students' ideological, moral, and cultural qualities. We organize a wide range of activities, such as foreign language drama performances and English speech and debate competitions, to enrich campus life and foster a holistic educational experience.
